Glucose Test,Third Trimester, and a Doula

1.  Well people, tomorrow is the big glucose test to see if Mama's got "the sugah" as they say down here in the south.  Well, her one hour test anyway-if she passes this, she is free and clear - if not, she has to go back in for a 3 hour test - sounds like fun...

2.  According to our baby doc, once you have reached 27 weeks and 3 days, you are officially in your third trimester.  I've seen this calculated so many different ways but we are going to go with what the good doctor follows.  13 TUESDAYS AFTER TODAY TO DUE DATE

3.  We are seriously considering using the services of a doula lately.  My Aunt is a doula but she lives 10 hours away, so um..that won't work.  We need to investigate some options here in VA - looking to be reasonable with cost so thinking about finding a doula who is "in training".  DW seems to lean more and more every day towards a less invasive, non-induced labor and birthing plan.  Now don't get us wrong - we aren't interested in birthing in a tub in our livingroom, we want an MD in a hospital, but I think a doula can help us in this direction.

Quick n dirty again this week, but Mamcita has definitely POPPED more this week - looks like she swallowed a basketball for reals...
