34 weeks and taken a turn into Uncomfortableville

OK, her feet are not the only thing swollen now-its gone up her legs.  Her heartburn is multiple times daily now.  She can't find a comfortable position to sit or sleep in and as soon as she does, she has to pee.  She is fatigued every other day but surprisingly, she is in really good spirits.

Still no dresser but we have an update-it came in damaged so they had to reorder it-should be here this week and they offered free delivery to make up for the wait!

We have a "For Baby's Sake" class this week, not even sure what that entails but we will figure it out when we get there.

In other big news, we are close enough to go time where we can actually preregister for the hospital now so we will be doing that this week as well.

DW's coworker had her baby this week and it was her first and she did it with NO DRUGS.  She checked into the hospital at 3pm and had the baby at 7pm - what are the chances we'll have that???  Hmmmm.

To those that have tried to comment on my blog but have not been successful -what the hell?  SO annoying, any ideas as to why this would be happening?  UGH-sorry about that!

SO WE HAVE A NAME FOR OUR DAUGHTER...FINALLY!!!!!  But we won't make the big announcement until she arrives -but GEEZ-that was REEEEEEAAAAALLLLYYYYY hard!

6 weeks to go...

  1. YAY YAY YAY. but urgh, the heartburn. i loathed that. they say that people with a lot of heartbburn means the baby has a lot of hair. Hlow came out with a full head of monkey hair. so maybe you have a little monkey in there too!!! so cute. i can't wait for you all. and i cannot imagine being pregs in August. YIKES.

on a side note - you know my labor was 65hrs, right? water broke at 6am on a Thursday. didn't have her until Sunday morning. wow. but i will say this - i did the entire thing with no drugs! that is until the very end when i had to get the c-section. i wear that as a pretty major badge. when i see people posting all over FB about their 6hr labors and their 5 minutes of pushing...i get really jealous/sad. but it's amazing for them. and, let me tell you, there are a lot of those quick ones! so you have a pretty high chance of going fast! put it out into the universe, it will come true!

    CAN'T WAIT!
