I had a work luncheon with external customers to attend today at noon, and I just knew thats when the call would come in - and sure enough - we got to the restaurant and my phone rang. I stepped out into the lobby to take it. Our IVF coordinator said it's good news - Mary's beta came back at 310, this is a doubing time of 43.39 hours and all we needed was for it to at least double in 48 hours so its actually a little bit faster. This is good, we think. The first time we were pregnant, betas were 121 and 280 respectively, represnting a doubling time of 39.66 hours, so even slightly faster that time and it didn't have the outcome we'd hoped. So clearly good beta numbers and doubling times arent our issue, so we are cautiously optimistic and trying to take this one step at a time.
We were given a due date of 08.23.2011.

Need a sticky baby or babies this go round - hopeful and terrified all at the same time.
